Not much to report from me after another hot busy week in the metropolis.
High point of the week was another winning cricket bet in the fourth Test between England and South Africa - Cricket Trends Revealed possibly in the making! – with my wife telling me I should concentrate my punting on cricket with seven winning bets from eight!
Low points included getting caught in the rain too often walking to and from work, whose droplets ruined the chance of Golden Prospect at Sandown. I said to my colleague earlier, that either some of the horses I’m following are rubbish, or I’m due for a good run when they get conditions.
I will be winding down my blogs slightly over the next month – which may be a blessing based on the past fortnight’s results! – owing to the jumps book deadline rapidly approaching. I’m in for a nine-hour shift on Saturday writing, so I don’t think I’ll get to see many of the 17 races on TV in the afternoon – but then my wife has promised to take me for an Indian meal followed by cinema in the evening as a break.
The performance ratings and Top Of The Form entries will still appear, though, along with random blogs when I get the time.
Anyway, good luck with any bets, including the Rose of Lancaster and Sweet Solera Stakes from the book – the Royal Whip Stakes is on Sunday.
