Busy, busy, busy, which seems to be the norm these days – I’m currently trying to buy a new car as mine is on the way out. I unsuccessfully attended a car auction on Tuesday morning which was an experience - nice bacon rolls though - so I’m off on the Tour De Showrooms today to try and pick up something I can drive to work on Thursday; no Donny for Davey.

I’m also in the process of putting the new website together that will be launched in tandem with the new jumps season in late-October. This means a better service will be offered, allowing me quality time to list things like the Top of the Form races currently outside the Top 20, which I’m unable to do this week for instance.

Yes there's been several big-priced winners on here of late which is always nice - and some tasty placed ones too.

Interesting to note that today's 16-1 winner graduated from Funky Munky's race, who I've napped in the RFO this week and runs on Thursday.

I'm not at the Guardian on Friday so there may be time for some Ayr Gold Cup trends ratings - stay tuned.

Good stuff again Dave. When the new venture takes place, will there be a chance that the selections can put put up overnight as I struggle with work and the internet being blocked ect.

Keep up the good work.

Hi Dunc,

When the new website is launched, I'm not sure yet if the Top 20 qualifiers will be available at the overnight stage, although they will definitely appear a lot earlier on the day, around 7.30am.

Best - David
