The quest to find a car is finally over as I left Tuesday’s auction with a 2006 Ford Focus, which should help me do battle with the winter weather on my journey to work.

There’s a strong chance of me producing trends ratings on here for both the Ayr Silver and Gold Cups on Friday as I’m not at the Guardian - some of you may remember the ratings found last year’s Silver winner, Against The Grain, at 20-1
